Step 1 : Getting JDK

You can download JDK here. Make sure to download JDK 6 update 7. Once you have selected 6 update 7, you will choose which platform, which would be Windows for 99% of people have. Then for language, select multi, since it is the only choice and check the box to agree to the licsense agreement. Click on the link under the offline installation. Once its downloaded, install it. From now on, we will refer to JDK 6 update 7, I will use j6u7.

Step 2 : Getting a source/host.

In order to see actual gameplay on the server, you need a source. You can download sources from here until I can get some sources transfered over here. **NOTE** Once you have the source downloaded, then you probably want to change all the names of the source to the name of your server, I will teach that in another tut(tutorial). Once you have the source downloaded, you have to extract the folder onto your desktop. In order to do that, you need WinRar, which can be downloaded here. Select the english version. Once you have WinRar, open up the .rar file in which your source came in, then select "Extract" and chose "Desktop". There ya go.

Step 3 : Getting a No-IP.

When you connect to a server, you need a port and IP to log in. If you are lazy, you can always obtain your computer IP and just use that, but that puts you at risk for hack. So I highly recommend getting a No-IP. You download the No-IP Dynamic Update Client here. But, before you download the No-IP DUC, you must register an acount. It's easy, just click on "Sign Up Now!". Once you have a registered account, click on the "Download" tab at the top of the page, then select your operating system. then select "Download Now". Then once it has downloaded, return to the main page(Your NO-IP) and click on "Add" which is located under "Hosts/Redirects". Then, next to "Hostname" type in the name of your server, or anything you want. Then, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE ON THE PAGE, and click on "Create Host". Theres your No-IP. You must let your No-IP DUC update, should only take a few minutes.

Step 4 : Client(How to use)

I will explain how to get a client and/or make one in a different post. If you ever actually play RuneScape(lol), then I can explain a client really easily. When you go to RuneScape.com and click on play now, then select a world, that worl is just a link to a client. A client connects to a server, and displays the source correctly. The most common client is a webclient made by Miss Silabsoft, the Silabsoft Client(real creative). You can play the Silab Client here. But I do not recommend it. I recommend you download the client here. Creat a folder on your desktop named "Silab Client". Then, when you go to extract, extract it to that folder, or else it will not work. Once it is done extracting, open up the folder and click on "run". It will open up your internet and take you to the Silabsoft Forums, just close your internet browser. Then once it has loaded, you can enter and username and any password(remember this, it's important!)

Step 5 : Portforwarding

Now, I'm not 100% sure how portforwarding works, but I know how to do it. It happens thru your router, but since there are hundered of hundereds of routers, I use a program called Utorrent. Download Utorrent here. Once you have it downloaded, install if you have to. I forget if its an installer you download or the actual client. Anyways, get Utorrent opened and click oon Options>Preferences>Connection and make sure the port typed in the box is 43594. Then check the folowing boxes :

• Enable UPnP port mapping
  
• Enable NAT - PMP
  
• Add uTorrent to Windows Firewall exceptions (Windows XP SP2 or later only)

Make sure these boxes are UN-checked :

• Randomize port each time uTorrent starts

Now, close uTorrent.

Step 6 : Getting your server online

First off, you should've already left your No-IP DUC open. Next, open up your source folder and click on "run". It should be a Windows Batch File. It shoold open up and you should see something like :
"**INSERT SERVER NAME HERE** -- ONLINE" or something like that.
Now, open up uTorrent. Now, go to either here or use the client you may of downloaded earlier. Then, once it loads, enter a username and a password. For the IP, type in the IP you have in your No-IP DUC(yourservername.no-ip.biz). Leave the port at 43594. It should work, if ti doesn't work feel free to PM me.
